In simple terms, Artful is a studio and gallery shop based in Hexham in Northumberland - but there is much more to us than that. Our mission at Artful is to make a variety of art accessible and affordable to as many people as possible. At Artful, our customers are right at the top of our agenda. Artful is a browser's paradise and a shopper's dream. It is comfortable and welcoming, so that once you've visited, you will want to return time after time. Artful provides a platform for the talent of artists from the North East of England; and the key to Artful's success is the passion, the skill and the inspiration that can be seen in the work of our carefully selected featured artists. The driving force behind the Artful brand is Kelly Morgan, a versatile and adventurous artist, who paints, draws, works with glass and creates what are arguably the quirkiest greetings cards in the North East of England. Ultimately, Artful is both a concept and an ideal. You can choose to become part of it, as an artist, a browser or a customer and we will welcome you in.

Alnwick Website Alnwick is in the heart of Northumberland, famous for its unspoilt beauty, and is one of the most picturesque areas of countryside in the whole of England - with long sandy beaches, quiet friendly villages, the Simonside and Cheviot hills, well preserved medieval Castles, and gardens (Alnwick Garden should come top of your list!). There are numerous Stately Homes in the area including the fantastic Alnwick Castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland and oft referred to as "The Windsor of the north".
