Garden Cottage is a single storey restored farm workers cottage, with professionally designed interior dcor and equipped to five star standards. The Garden Cottage has been awarded a 5 star grade by VisitBritain in February 2008
As the name implies, the cottage boasts a garden, in fact two. One has a patio with table, chairs, barbeque and open views of the surrounding countryside looking towards the coast and the other with timber play equipment, wendy house and parking for 2 cars.
It is a quintessential luxury Northumberland cottage.

The beautiful 12th-century church of the Augustinian priory of Brinkburn survives completely roofed and restored. Picturesquely set by a bend in the River Coquet, it is reached by a scenic 10 minute walk from the car park. Parts of the monastic buildings are incorporated into the elegant adjacent manor house.
