A superb holiday cottage still with it's original bell tower, the Old School Room was the village school, parish room and winter church until 1751 when it was replaced with a new school, which itself became a church in the late 1970's. Situated in the centre of the village close to the butchers, pub/restaurant and village shop. Being recently restored, the Old School Room is a perfect setting offering you the opportunity to relax or explore beautiful Northumberland with home comforts and relaxing surroundings. Any stay is not complete without a visit to the 'Village Local' for a hearty meal and a well poured beverage or two.

Passion for books and excellent service make Cogito an integral part of this market town: friends and families meet up here, tickets for local concerts are sold here, e... More.. |
